'Figures are the main source of interest in my work. Ultimately I make
patterns with a narrative. I spend quite a lot of time watching - the
painters equivalent of the time spent by writers in listening. All has
to be translated into coloured marks on a two dimensional surface. My
work has been exhibited in public and private exhibitions in this
country and is held in collections in the UK, Canada. America,
